Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons Review (XBOX 360)

I am a huge fan of beat em up side scroller multi player games. The Double Dragon franchise is known as one of the originators of this genre. I remember playing this game way back in the NES days having an awesome time kicking and punching bad guys with my friends. One of my all time favorite side scrolling beat em up games was BattleToads & Double Dragon on the SNES. Golden Axe, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II also make that list. Needless to say, when I first got a copy of this game I was really excited to review it and get back into some old school beat em up nostalgia. Read moreRead more

The early movies were quite entertaining, but the more recent contributions haven’t added much to the saga. I think it’s about time that they put an end to the moviegoers suffering and feed them to a hungry zombie horde. Anyway, here are my thoughts about the Screen Gems’ newest release. Wii U: Nintendo’s New Console Offers Hope

Among the platform holders, everyone has something to prove at E3. Of course, that’s true every year – but often, the things they have to prove are pretty much the same. We have the best games, the best hardware, the best strategy. We’ll “win” E3 and then we’ll “win” the year. Traditionally, that means going head to head with at least one competitor – think of memorable years like the one where Sony tried to usurp Nintendo’s DS presentation by revealing the PSP to the world, or the year when Microsoft and Sony went head-to-head with their next-gen hardware reveals.
