Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons Review (XBOX 360)

I am a huge fan of beat em up side scroller multi player games. The Double Dragon franchise is known as one of the originators of this genre. I remember playing this game way back in the NES days having an awesome time kicking and punching bad guys with my friends. One of my all time favorite side scrolling beat em up games was BattleToads & Double Dragon on the SNES. Golden Axe, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II also make that list. Needless to say, when I first got a copy of this game I was really excited to review it and get back into some old school beat em up nostalgia. Read moreRead more

In all honesty, there were no major surprises at all. The iPad goes from being a large iPhone 3GS to a large iPhone 4. All of the features, specs, accessories, and applications were all previously discussed by many different rumor sites and other sources. Read moreRead more

Marvel vs Capcom 3 (PS3) Review

I have been playing the Street Fighter series since I was 8 years old. It slowly graduated from Street Fighter, to Super Street Fighter, to the Alphas, and then to the Versus games. It was the Versus games that really made me a fighting game addict. I remember spending countless hours at the local arcade pumping quarters into the X-Men vs Street Fighter game. There was something intriguing about teaming Ryu and Wolverine up and beating the crap out of the opposition. The game featured big super moves and massive combos, which were ultimately perfected in Marvel vs Capcom 2 (MvC2). Marvel vs Capcom 2 featured over 50 playable characters and was the most addictive fighting game I have ever played. Needless to say, I was excited for MvC 3. Could it ever live up to my expectations? Read moreRead more
