The Toronto Blue Jays were involved in a 5 player deal with the Atlanta Braves sending Alex Gonzalez,prospect reliever Tim Collins and infielder Tyler Pastornicky for Yunel Escobar and Jo-Jo Reyes. Escobar is a 27-year-old who is having a down season. Gonzalez, on the other hand is having a great season with 17hr and 50rbis but only batting .250.
