Playstation 3 To Get 3D Blu-ray playback!
At a press event held yesterday, Sony CEO Howard Stringer announced that the software update that grants the PS3 with 3D Blu-ray playback capabilities is being pushed back from September to October. Stringer also announced that there would be 3D bundles including Alice in Wonderland 3D and Michael Jackson’s This Is It: 3D Enhanced Edition. The Green Hornet and Spiderman 3D titles are also due to come out on 3D sometime in the next year, after their theatrical releases. Read more
NHL 11 Release / Launch: Taylor Hall, Nazem Kadri & More in the Rookie Challenge!
Today was the media only launch of EA Sports’ NHL 11. The launch featured a “Rookie Challenge”. NHL rookies Taylor Hall, Nazem Kadri, Tyler Seguin and more squared off in a massive tournament to demonstrate that they are just as skilled at video game hockey as they are on the ice. NHL 11 is the highly anticipated 2010 – 2011 edition of EA Sport’s popular NHL franchise. Tekken 6 (PS3) Review
I first played Tekken at a coffee shop near my school when I was 12 years old. I instantly became addicted. The cutting edge 3D graphics, the simple controls, and the endless combos had me ditching class to stay and play. Fast forward 15 years. Namco has already released 6 Tekkens. The game is still an arcade smash hit, and sells millions across the platforms. How can you improve what is already one of the best fighters ever? Simple. Add characters, a crazy storyline, and adventure modes. Read more
Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip (PSP) Review
PlayStation Portable (PSP) has always been about fun on the go. You can bring it anywhere with you, it fits in your pocket, and you have access to a ton of awesome games. After all of the big tennis matches in Toronto ended this week, I was craving a good tennis match. My prayers have been answered. I recently received Sony’s newest tennis title, Hot Shots Tennis GET A GRIP! The fun begins when you see the cover. It features a couple of anime characters having a blast on the tennis court. I’ve never played a Hot Shots game before, but from what I hear, they are all about the game play, style and unlockable content. This game truly has it all. It is a casual take on an old classic, the great game of tennis. Read more

Playstation MOVE is Coming to town!
On Saturday, August 14, Sony Computer Entertainment Canada (PlayStation Canada) will be offering consumers the chance to demo the PlayStation Move, the most precise, ultra-sensory motion experience on the market.
It officially launches September 17, dedicated PlayStation field representatives will be on site at over 30 Best Buy stores across Canada from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., giving consumers an opportunity to demo “the Move” before it hits retail shelves this fall. Madden 11: PS3 REVIEW
Electronic Arts made the world’s best selling football game, Madden, and has come out with their 2011 version this past Tuesday. I got my copy on Wednesday and let me tell you, this game is even better then last years. I have been hearing reviews about how this year’s game isn’t as good. I have no idea what people are thinking. This year’s game is amazing. The graphics are amazing, the pregame chants, the celebrations are better, and the announcers are better. EA added Gus Johnson to do the commentating over Tom Hammond and it definitely made a difference.

God of War III (PS3) Review
Revenge is sweet.
