That little Robot is catching up FASTTTTTTT!!!!! According to an article in Computerworld, the Gartner Group predicts that Android will surpass both Blackberry and the iPhones iOS4 in total units shipped Worldwide. Its interesting to note how the Google operating system is not limited to one hardware vendors sales as the Apple Iphone is. Multiple vendors are producing Smartphones which run Android from the likes of HTC, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and LG. Read more
Sony Playstation Move Event and Demo! See it in Action!
U Be the Critic was lucky enough to be invited to Sony’s media only event where they demonstrated the new Playstation Move. Several systems were set up in “living rooms” across Leon’s Roundhouse, and members of the press got to be some of the first people to try out Sony’s new move controller. Read more
NHL 11 EA Sports & EB Games Toronto Launch Party with Mike Komisarek
EA Sports, EB Games, and Sony Playstation all collaborated to continue the massive launch of EA Sports’ NHL 11. Vancouver’s EB Games had the Canucks’ own superstars, the Sedin twins signing autographs, while Toronto’s EB games had Leafs rugged defenseman Mike Komisarek. Read more
Playstation 3 To Get 3D Blu-ray playback!
At a press event held yesterday, Sony CEO Howard Stringer announced that the software update that grants the PS3 with 3D Blu-ray playback capabilities is being pushed back from September to October. Stringer also announced that there would be 3D bundles including Alice in Wonderland 3D and Michael Jackson’s This Is It: 3D Enhanced Edition. The Green Hornet and Spiderman 3D titles are also due to come out on 3D sometime in the next year, after their theatrical releases. Read more

Do you use your iPhone or iPod touch to play games? Many people do. I remember struggling to play games on the iPhone due to the annoying touch screen interface. The graphics were awesome, and the gameplay was also great, but as a hardcore gamer, I was deterred from playing games on the iPhone. All of the great work by the developers was sacrificed because of the sketchy control scheme. Read more
Tekken 6 (PS3) Review
I first played Tekken at a coffee shop near my school when I was 12 years old. I instantly became addicted. The cutting edge 3D graphics, the simple controls, and the endless combos had me ditching class to stay and play. Fast forward 15 years. Namco has already released 6 Tekkens. The game is still an arcade smash hit, and sells millions across the platforms. How can you improve what is already one of the best fighters ever? Simple.
