One of the biggest albums of the year is finally out. The two biggest Rap icons in the music industry have collaborated to produce an album called Watch The Throne. Jay Z’s last album was Blue Print 3 which was in 2009. Kanye West’s last album was called My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy which came out in 2010. The album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy has gone certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America as of August 2011.

This album features some of the top producers in the rap industry today, from Swiss Beatz, Lex Luger and The Neptunes. It also has some other producers which people haven’t heard of which really will get more recognition once this album is dropped. People will remember their names because their beats are amazing and the tracks sound great! There aren’t many features on the album but you do get to hear Beyonce on Lift Off on the second track of the album, Frank Ocean which is on two tracks, Otis Redding and Mr. Hudson. I think the album is better when you have less featured artists because then you actually get to hear the artists true talent on the songs instead of having 3 or 4 guys on one song.

Jay Z and Kanye West have made an amazing album. Personally I think this is the best album of the year so far. Every track sounds amazing and has a different feel to it. My top two favourite songs on the album got to be H*A*M and Niggas In Paris. Overall I would rate this album 5 out 5 and recommend this to all Jay Z and Kanye West fans out there. All of the fans out there should get excited too because Jay Z and Kanye West are going on a Watch The Throne album tour so check your local cities to see when there coming to you.
