My Mandarin ExperienceBy: Phil E
Last night I was unfortunate enough to go to Mandarin for a friend’s birthday dinner. To say it was an unpleasant experience would be an understatement. The food itself was fantastic, as usual. However, my unpleasant experience began after the meal had concluded.
Approximately half an hour after I ate, I began to feel clammy and nauseous. I decided to go outside for some fresh air and ended up vomiting. When I explained what had happened to management, they could care less. Their mindset was, “pay for your meal and get lost.”
Whatever happened to customer service?
Their philosophy seemed to be, “losing twenty-five customers doesn’t matter as they will be easily replaced.” That isn’t exactly the best business model, but what do I know?
After a LONG talk with the manager, he finally agreed not to charge me for my meal. But I must admit, after the lack of compassion and awful customer service, I am done with Mandarin restaurant. It was a terrible experience overall and I don’t see myself going back there.
