Eminem’s Recovery Tour: Eminem, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Live at Comerica Park

A good friend of U Be the Critic recently traveled to Detroit to see Eminem's first show of his new "Recovery" tour. The show took place at Comerica Park a couple of weekends ago. For Eminem, a Detroit show is a homecoming for the rapper who grew up close to Comerica in Detroit's "8 Mile". It was a highly anticipated event. People paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a chance to see Eminem live.  He performed many of the hits from his new album, Recovery.  He also performed some of his older hits.  For many lifelong fans, it was their first glimpse of Eminem live in action.  He didn't dissappoint!   He brought a stellar supporting cast with him for the show.  Check out the pictures here!

The pictures you see here were all taken from the front row! Eminem's show featured plenty of top notch talent. Live on hand were Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Drake, 50 Cent, G-Unit, and Young Jeezy. Dr. Dre

From what I heard, the show was a fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity. Our friends over at Sick N Fresh.com have been life long Eminem fans, and had never seen Eminem live in action. It was a fantastic time to see him, as he has just dropped his best album in years. Recovery is doing very well on the charts and has many hit tracks. I can only imagine how hyped up the crowd was as Em, Dre, 50 and more put on an intense show. Eminem & Jay-Z

50 Cent was there looking very trim. I am used to seeing him looking huge, but he recently shed a lot of weight and muscle so that he could play a role in a movie.

G Unit showed up as well, and Bizarre put on quite the show.

I wish I could have been there. I heard that the party was non stop, as we could expect from such a star studded show.  Hip hop heads, teanie boppers, and music lovers alike were kept on their feet for 6 hours straight.  B.O.B. was the opening act and also put on a tremendous show.  It truly must have been a once in a lifetime opportunity.  I regret not going, but hopefully Eminem will keep touring for many years to come, and there will be a next time.
