Apple’s New IPOD TOUCH!!

Steve Jobs is at it again. Quick on the heels of the Iphone 4 launch on July 30 he has now introduced the closest thing to an Iphone 4, the NEW IPOD TOUCH. Steve has launched a new Ipod Touch that doesn’t necessarily resemble the Iphone 4, but it does offer the Retina display, Front and Rear facing Cameras 3D Axis Gyroscope (which ties in with the new Gaming platform also announced today) the NEW Apple A4 processor introduced in the Iphone 4 and the FACETIME VideoConferencing capability.

In a connected world of Wifi the new Ipod Touch allows you to do pretty much anything that the Iphone 4 will except the ability to make phone calls. That also remains to be seen with Skype and Fring being available for the Ipod touch at the App Store.

Unlike the Iphone 4 the new Ipod Touch will be released for sale sometime this week so brace yourselves for even bigger lineups at Apple Land!!!!
The previous iPods have all sold very well. I have no doubt that the new iPods will mimic the sales of their predecessors. With all new features, iPhone 4 like ability, and a lower price tag, this new iPod will definitely be a hit. I can’t wait to get my hands on one so that I can test it out and review it for you. For now, I will have to be satisfied reading about it and eagerly anticipating its arrival in the Apple store.
