Marvel vs Capcom 3 Is Coming Out!

When I was a kid, my favorite arcade game was X-Men Chldren of the Atom. I used to spend hours in the arcade mastering Wolverine’s combos. As a 10 year old, nothing was more satisfying than ripping a sentinel apart with Wolverine’s claws.
Fast forward 17 years. Most of the best arcade games are now ported onto the major video game systems. Marvel vs Capcom came out for playstation 2, so did Marvel Superheroes, X – Men vs Streetfighter, the list is endless. As a video game nerd, I have been anxiously awaiting the day Capcom would announce the release of a new VS game. The Streetfighter series is great, but I love the open fighting style of the VS series, with the massive super moves, endless combos, and the dynamic of mid air fighting. Capcom has finally made the announcement I have been waiting for. Marvel vs Capcom 3 is coming out some time in 2011. My prayers have been answered.
It looks like the same old VS engine, with updated graphics, new characters to choose from, and a new generation of kids whose butts I’ll kick online.
