How to Get Live Sports Scores on Your Iphone Lock Screen!

For everyone using an iphone or ipad, here is a neat little trick you can use to get live sports scores on your lock screen directly from ESPN.

I have come across a “secret” URL which gives live scores from ESPN. The data was not in RSS format, so it wasn’t very useable.

The creator of the URL went ahead and created RSS feeds to allow people to use the info in their RSS Readers.

So in order to access these RSS feeds and have them show up on your Iphone or Ipad, follow these steps.

1. Install “Lockinfo” on your iPhone or Ipad.
2. Add the “RSS Feeds” plugin.
3. Add any of the following feeds into the RSS Plugin.

Major League Baseball

http://www.mpiii.com/scores/mlb.php

National Football League

http://www.mpiii.com/scores/nfl.php

National Basketball Association

http://www.mpiii.com/scores/nba.php

National Hockey League

http://www.mpiii.com/scores/nhl.php

NCAA

http://www.mpiii.com/scores/ncaa.php
