Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons Review (XBOX 360)

I am a huge fan of beat em up side scroller multi player games. The Double Dragon franchise is known as one of the originators of this genre. I remember playing this game way back in the NES days having an awesome time kicking and punching bad guys with my friends. One of my all time favorite side scrolling beat em up games was BattleToads & Double Dragon on the SNES. Golden Axe, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II also make that list. Needless to say, when I first got a copy of this game I was really excited to review it and get back into some old school beat em up nostalgia. Read more

Mozilla Toronto Open Web Open Mic Event

This past week I had the privilege to attend the first ever Mozilla open web, open mic. Doing stand-up up comedy in my spare time I was able to find this event on Eventbrite and decided to see if I could perform at this event trying out some of my tech joke material. This was an open mic open web event. For those of you who don’t know what open web means it is a movement that asserts a special role for public, cooperative, and standard World Wide Web communications; it opposes private, exclusive, and proprietary Web solutions. Sony Playstation 4: The Next Generation of Gaming

Yesterday Sony took the lid off the highly anticipated Sony Playstation 4. The next generation of gaming is upon us! Nintendo recently launched its Wii U, which has failed to live up to the lofty expectations set by the Wii. Sony is hoping to rebound after its launch of the Playstation 3 did not live up to expectations. The PS3 was priced way too high, and like any other brand new system, there was little to no game support at the time to justify the hefty price tag. Read more
